Svijet stvarnosti - traganje i borba/The world of reality - search and struggle

Abstract

The paper shows that conflicts are essential constitutive part of the world of reality. Life in that world is characterised by search for selfhood which is, most frequently, opposed to that world, and by constant struggle which follows from the world as founded upon opposites. We are considering positions of the philosophers such as Heraclitus, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche and Heidegger who recognized the world of reality as world in which struggle is an unavoidable event. The conflicts between an individual and the world of reality, which uncover themself as necessary for the possibility of authentic personality, make visible the constructive possibilities of the conflicts and their positive results.
